Human Trafficking Presentations for Young Adults

My chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Alpha Nu Sigma, is currently working on a project called Honors in Action. Our focus is on promoting safety among youths within South Carolina by educating them on human trafficking. I have created a presentation featuring important information pertaining to this cause. Over the next several months, my peers and I will exhibit our findings to groups of young adults within our community.

Topics covered in the presentation include what human trafficking is, what trafficking victims look like, why human trafficking happens, how people become trafficking victims, need-to-know statistics, where human trafficking happens, types of human trafficking, methods of human trafficking recruitment, what legislators are doing about human trafficking in South Carolina, ways to avoid becoming a trafficking victim, and where trafficking victims can get help. Each seminar lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes and is followed by a Q&A session.

If you are interested in offering this public safety presentation as an event at your workplace or at any gathering in the near future, please contact me.

Thanks for reading. Have a great day!

  1. fantastic submit, very informative. I ponder why the opposite specialists of this sector do not understand this. You should continue your writing. I’m confident, you’ve a huge readers’ base already!

  2. Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appeal. I must say you’ve done a amazing job with this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Internet explorer. Outstanding Blog!
